Constant speed of light and uniformed succession of time invalidates time dilation:

  • The wave moves a distance of one wavelength (λ) in one period of time (T).
  • Since, speed = distance/time.
  • The speed (v) of a wave is wavelength/period (v = λ/T).
  • For electromagnetic waves, c = λ/T.
  • Since speed of light is constant (c), succession of time needs to be uniformed.
  • Note Δt = T/360 (for 1° phase shift)
